The Creative Process

The process started with the instrumental direction. We wanted something powerful yet uplifting — a sound that blends Afrobeat bounce with inspirational energy. The production began with layered percussion, rhythmic log drums, and atmospheric pads to create a feeling of anticipation — like something big is about to happen.

Melodically, the hook was the foundation. I focused on crafting a chorus that is simple, memorable, and emotionally charged — something listeners can chant with confidence. Once the chorus was locked in, the verses were written to reflect real-life struggles, perseverance, prayer, and eventual victory.
